Who We Are
About Us
The owners built the original home in 1980 and raised their family there for 41 years. We, Jennifer and DJ McWaters purchased the property in July 2021 after they relocated to Texas. We then decided to develop the homestead into a place others can unite to share good times, love, and laughter, as we did so often with our Josephine.
Josephine, my fun-loving, feisty Italian grandmother passed away shortly after we acquired the property. We had tossed around several names for the venue and she had shared many suggestions. We wanted something beautiful, easy to remember, and something that would represent my Italian heritage. I wish I would have had the chance to share with her the name we chose. The Josephine represents something beautiful memorable and amazing, which are all the things we hope you gain during your stay.
